Steps:

  1. Locate the “Work Orders” tab in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click the “New Work Order” button in blue, on the right side of the screen.
  3. Fill out the work order form with all the required details.
    • ⚠️ Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Details Needed to Create a Work Order:

  • Location*: Specify where the work will take place
  • Asset: Link the work order to the relevant asset.
  • Problem Code: Select appropriate category for the work order.
  • Category*: Select the appropriate category for the work order.
  • Priority: Select the appropriate category for the work order.
  • Description*: Add a detailed explanation of the task to be completed.
  • Images: Upload any relevant images.
  • Documents: Upload any relevant documents.
  • Start Date*: Specify when the work should begin.
  • End Date*: Define the deadline for task completion.
  • Assignment: Assign a primary worker, additional workers, or a team..
    • πŸ’‘ Note: If you select the location first, Gemini Smart will filter out resources not linked to that location.
    • πŸ’‘ Note: If an asset is already linked to a location, the associated location will automatically populate when you select the asset.
  • Checklist: Attach any necessary checklists for the work order.
  • Add Parts/Add Set: Attach any necessary Part/Set for the work order.
  • Registration of hours is required: Check this box to activate this function.
  • Accounting is required: Check this box to activate this function.

In Gemini Smart, assets and locations are connected to ensure accurate management. An asset must be associated with a specific location to appear in a work order. This system provides a complete overview and simplifies maintenance management.

Who can create work orders in Gemini Smart?

Can create work orders:

  • Administrators
  • Limited Administrators
